How many fanfics have you ever written?

I’ve honestly no idea. I’ve started loads more than I’ve seriously worked on/finished. Before modern gadgetry, I was probably singlehandedly responsible for the deforestation of somewhere ecologically important. My old notebooks fill the big cupboard behind me.

Finished stories that I can bring to mind and/or see in my OneDrive archive right now… about 60? 50 to 60 that I’ve finished and published, online or in fanzines? Not including drabbles and similar short-short pieces, which I’ve dabbled with but never got into in a big way. Sounds like a lot, but across 30+ years and a lot of fandoms, it’s really not a big output. Most of the stuff I’ve written in my life has been drafts, ideas going nowhere, plotbunnies with no actual story to belong to, brain doodles, and reams of notebook scribble.
