Spending a redundant third night in hospital because a) my migraine prevention meds never got written up for use on the ward and so now I have the worst migraine I've had in years, and b) the pharmacy is shut because it's Sunday, so even the nice overworked registrar who seems to be singlehandedly covering the entire hospital can't prescribe the right takeaway pain pills to get rid of me, since I need something non-routine (though hardly non-standard). All this admin should've been done on Friday while I was unconscious, and I've been battling to get it done pretty much ever since waking up. Not exactly restful, especially once the migraine reduced my coping and language skills to zero. I had to call in mother for reinforcements
Groan. But the actual absence of breasts that I expected to be dealing with is doing fine. And the nice young man put me on oxygen, which is good for headaches, apparently. If only headache was the most problematic of my migraine symptoms, but under the circumstances I'll take small mercies.

Date: 2 Jun 2019 16:00 (UTC)I wish I could be over there to talk to the admin people on your behalf AT LENGTH. But since I'm not, I'll just say that I'm glad the people caring for you are doing the best they can and that you have some oxygen.
Sending you many, MANY good thoughts. *hug*
