Peeks Out, Cautiously

I think February may have finished kicking my arse. My fannish and RL inboxes are overflowing, my computer and real world to-do list is as long as my arm, and the Unexpected Bills left over from the month's minor dramas are eye-watering. But it's been a whole day since anything last happened (the parental unit tripped and fell on her face in the street, coming home covered in blood from face to knees, with the aid of a kind lady with a car). I'm cautiously peeking out from my bunker and looking at those inboxes.

Good Heavens! So sorry about the "parent" and the fall. Something similar happened to my Mum. She face planted on the cement and was an awful mess of blood and bruises. Life, in it's nastiness, needs to give you a break and some peace. (Shakes fist in the air toward the offensive calendar.)
