My reason for participating in the 2019 Snowflake Challenge was simple: saw it (by sheer luck - see previous post about difficulty of finding the fannish breadcrumbs these days), got excited because I felt I could do it.

Normally, I find challenges/fests/gift-exchanges and other events too complicated, too rule-bound, too fiddly, and too time-restrictive to be able to enjoy them (or, half the time, even get my head around what they'd actually like me to do). I get worn out, confused, and even stressed just reading the signup blurb. Snowflake is kind to an easily-confused braincell, easy to understand at a glance, and there's no letting someone down if I don't do my bit or do it on time.

Thanks, Snowflake-team-2019!

I have a problem with signing up for too many exchanges and stressing myself out. This year I'm going to sign up for less! Hopefully.

Snowflake's relaxed atmosphere has been fun!
