nym_wibblyIn the six years I've been writing Once Upon a Time fanfic, all but one of which featured Rumple, I've cheerfully ignored how the show spelled his name. You couldn't miss it, seeing it on the dagger every few eps, but I just went "lalalala" and carried on writing it the way the rest of the English-speaking world does: Rumpelstiltskin.
Fifty thousand words into rewriting A Bed of Thorns, I've finally stopped pausing to untangle my typing fingers each time I write it the way the show does. Rumplestiltskin. See? I hardly even flinched.
