nym_wibblyI survived the Thing. It went as well as I could've hoped. Now I wait for the outcome and hope for the best.
I did turn up wearing odd shoes, though. I have 2 pairs of secondhand loafers - same design, different colours. I'd got as far as sitting down in the actual brightly-lit Thing Waiting Room, a whole hour and a half from home, before I noticed (on account of being unable to see my feet if I'm both standing up and wearing a bra).
So that was awkward. Fortunately, it was dark out by the time Thing was over.
